This workshop provides a comprehensive introduction to the Australian Curriculum.

The Australian Curriculum Mathematics is broken up into content and proficiency strands. In this workshop the presenters will provide an overview of how the proficiency and content strands may be integrated. A variety of activities and tasks drawn from all Year levels will be used to illustrate these links. The concept of a whole school learning trajectory will be explained as a means of creating a whole school approach to teaching mathematics using the Australian Curriculum.

Key Outcomes:
Teachers and leaders will become more familiar with the Australian Curriculum Mathematics and a better idea of how to implement it within the school.
