WAPPA Professional Learning Services provides learning for school leadership on 3 broad levels. All of our professional learning aligns with the AITSL standards for school leadership and the draft standards for professional learning for school leaders. Please click on the thumbnails below for the pdf documents.
At the 'Professional Development' Level, WAPPA provides amongst others short spaced learning courses, core programs, seminars, workshops, presentations, lectures & symposiums for school leadership. These whole school learning opportunities offer a more advanced opportunity for the profession to engage with learning most often related to systems priorities, complex organisational needs and local agendas. The delivery mode is generally a blend of face to face and online network discussion forums. The content range offered includes the Australian Curriculum, Early Years Framework, Whole school Approaches to Literacy and Numeracy, Inclusion, Behaviour Management, Change Cultures, Schools as Learning Communities, Human Resource & Performance Management and Data Intelligent Schools, amongst others. These programs are advertised through our central programs calendar and can be accessed via the WAPPA website. They can all be customised and adapted for networks, clusters or single school communities.
If you are interested in developing or presenting any of these programs materials for WAPPA please call Ruth or Sharon on 6380 1755.
