Description:
This workshop will be based on the WAPPA Publication 'Mapping the English Australian Curriculum for Kindergarten / Preschool Students' and will focus on Mapping the English Australian Curriculum K-2, models of intentional teaching, scope and sequence. This will give early childhood teachers the 'What to teach'.

The session will include:

• defining a balanced program, examining the EYLF and the Early Years of School DoE document;
• covering the general capabilities and cross curricula priorities in the Australian Curriculum;
• detailed mapping of the content of the English Australian Curriculum in the K-2 years;
• examples of scope and sequencing in the English learning area; and
• explicity teaching cycles - ISTAR model.

All participants are required to have a copy of the publication at the workshop and is available for purchase within this registration in addition to the workshop cost.
