Friday, 19 January 2024 - The Welcome Back Sunset Social was held at The Claremont Hotel with more than 80 guests in attendance. We congratulated Dean Finlay on his Life Member Award and welcomed members to a new and exciting year ahead.
Thank you to the 80+ WAPPA members and partners, who attended our start of year Sunset Social event. As always, it was a great way to stat the year, networking with colleagues and partners at the Claremont Hotel, with a number of door prizes being handed out. Most pleasing to see was that members from at least five education regions were in attendance.
A huge thanks must go to WAPPA Partner, OSHClub, who were major sponsors for this event.
We will continue to run more networking events for members over the course of the year, including coming to regional areas, to coincide with your region's leadership conferences, wherever possible.
