WAPPA Professional Support is available to all members, offering confidential support and guidance from experienced principals and staff in the WAPPA Business Centre.

Members are encouraged to take advantage of this valuable service, however complex or simple the issue may seem. A confidential conversation with an experienced principal may help you find clarity in your situation.

From Monday to Friday 9.30am to 12.30pm

Other calls outside these hours will be assisted by the WAPPA Business Centre staff and Board of Management. Please use the same number and email above for communication.

Member Support Officers (MSO) provide a sounding board for members who want to discuss a concern or issue in confidence.

Our Member Support Officers are highly experienced Principals who are either retired or on leave. They support WAPPA members with immediate issues in a non-judgemental and confidential manner.

Daily issues involving staff, parents or even unfamiliar paperwork can often be resolved with MSO assistance.

Some examples of the topics with which an MSO can provide support:

  • challenges with staffing
  • managing behavioural issues
  • curriculum knowledge
  • building and maintaining positive relationships
  • dealing with parents and caregivers
  • interpretation and implementation of policy and guidelines
